Description:

Dance is a hidden language of the soul! You dance to express and not

● Team limit (for group dance): 3-10 members (on stage) +2 backstage
(backstage people will not be considered as the part of team).

● Theme and Form for dance will be on the Participant’s discretion.
● Music will be stopped in case the performance exceeds the stipulated time
limit.
● The performance music has to be brought by the participants in a CD/pen-

● In case of malfunctioning of any equipment provided, the team will be
allowed to repeat their performance from the beginning or from the point of
disruption that the team wishes, with the consent of the judges.
● Accessories, costumes have to be arranged by the participants. Few extra
minutes will be given to arrange the props while there is a blackout.

D] Question Answer Round: The participants will be questioned by judges.
● NOTE: All participants will be judged on the basis of all the 3 sub-rounds.
All the 3 sub-rounds have equal weightage to add up to the final points tally.

rounds is left up to the participant. The participant will automatically lose

Description:
Come out of the bathroom and sing on the podium. Here is your chance to
let people hear voice, so jump in.
RULES:
● The competition is a solo singing competition.
● There will be 2 rounds viz. elimination and finals.
● The participants must sing for a minimum of 1 minute and a maximum
of 3 minutes for elimination.
● The participants can sing for a maximum of 5 minutes in the finals.
● Participants will have to perform according to the number given to
them at the time of reporting. In case the participant misses his/her
turn, the participant will be accommodated later only if time
permits.
● Participants requiring the use of any special instruments must arrange
for the same on their own. Such participants must inform organizing
team at the time of reporting.
● Each participant will be given only 1 chance to perform, failing which
the participant will be disqualified.

● A musical track WITHOUT CHORUS or any other lyrics can be used
by the participants in the finals but NOT in the elimination round.

● Bands must consist of at least three members, two of which plays an
instrument throughout the majority of the performance.

● The entire performance must be live, no pre-recorded music is allowed.
● All bands will receive an equal amount of time on stage (25 minutes). This
time includes all set-up, sound check, performance and take-down

● Equipment provided will be:
▪ One bass amplifier speaker
▪ One lead amplifier speaker
▪ Adequate microphones
▪ Drum set (Participants need to bring their own cymbals as well
as bass pedals).

▪ Adequate P.A. System.
● Time-slots will be assigned by lucky draw method. At least one member of
each band should be present for the draw.
● On stage, band members must be free from obscenities, drugs,
alcohol, or any other subject matter not suitable for an audience.
● If required, there will be a band-organizer meeting on the day of show.
● Bands will meet the organizers in charge of the event who will introduce the
performance area and go over last minute announcements. Bands may
unload equipment at that time.
● All bands must report to the venue at least half an hour before their
scheduled performance.
● Band members must bring along all other musical instruments and
equipment necessary for their performance. Band members are solely
responsible for the security of their equipment and the event organizers
cannot be held liable for any lost, damaged, or stolen equipment. Fires,
pyrotechnics, fog machines, etc. are not allowed.
● Administration reserves the right to make changes to the rules and
regulations of the contest as well as the final word in any disputes that should
arise concerning the contest.
● Team Vishwakarandak reserves the rights of disqualifying a participating
band on the grounds of misconduct or obscenity. Abusive language will not
be tolerated.

LAN

Event Description:

Clash Royale is a tower rush video game which pits players in
games featuring two and four players (one on one or two on two) in which the
objective is to destroy the most amount of opposing towers, with the destruction of
the “King tower” being an instantaneous win.
RULES:
● All rounds are elimination rounds.
● The player which is the first to win the match will be qualified to next round.
(EXCEPT FOR SEMI-FINALS AND FINALS).
● For Semi-Finals and Finals, the player that wins maximum rounds out of 3
rounds will be the winner.
● Only pre-made deck combinations on provided phones can be used.
● All Levels of cards and king tower’s will be leveled down/up by tournament
rules and standards.
● In case of a draw, Total Damage will be considered as secondary elimination
factor
● In case of network errors, rematch will be conducted.
● Draws will be randomly made.

Event Description:

Counter-Strike is a first-person shooter game in which players
join either the terrorist team, the counter-terrorist team, or become spectators. Each
team attempts to complete their mission objective and/or eliminate the opposing
team.
RULES:
● Every team should at least consist of 3 players and maximum 5 players.
● The team which is the first to win 5 rounds in the match will be the winner
(EXCEPT FOR SEMI-FINALS AND FINALS).
● For Semi-Finals and Finals, the team that is the first to win 9 rounds will be the
winner.
● The map to be played in, will be decided at the time of the match by the
respective event-heads.
● No computer bots will be allowed in the game so only the players will play the
game against one another.
● For each match, only one PC will create the LAN game and the other players of
both the teams will join only that game.

● All weapons that are available in the game are open to all the players and
Friendly Fire is OFF in the first round.
● Second round onwards, Friendly Fire will be ON.

Event Description: FIFA 15 is an association football simulation video game. It is
a multiplayer football strategy game and involves all the tactics and mechanics of an
actual football match put together in a game.
RULES:
● Every match will be a one-on-one match.
● Length of the elimination round games will be 4 minutes having halves of 2
minutes each. The semi-final and final rounds will have games of 6 minutes
having halves of 3 minutes each.
● The player who scores more goals wins the match.
● In case of a draw, it will be decided by a penalty shootout and not extra-time.
● No player will get a second chance or a trial chance.
● All rounds are elimination rounds so only the winner will advance to the next
round.
● In the first elimination round only four stars (or lower) teams can be selected.
After the first elimination round all teams that are available in the game are open
to all players so a player can choose either a club team or an international team
as per their choice.

other for the final round.
● In the Finals, it will be a one-on-one between the 2 Finalists.

Most Wanted is like other Need for Speed games, where the
player selects one car and races against a time limit or other racers to reach a
destination. The game features street racing-oriented game play, with certain
customization options.

next round.
● 2nd round onwards, it will be among 4 players till the Semi-Finals.
● In the Finals, it will be a one-on-one Race between the 2 Finalists.

● A player can customize the car and use of Nitrous Oxide (N2O) in the cars
is allowed in the game.

RULES:
The Player which survives till the end of the match will be the winner.
● The map to be played in will be decided at the time of the match by the
respective event-heads.
● Computer bots can be used in the game to complete 100 players.
● It’s compulsory to bring and use your own smartphone and internet network
during the match.
● Any instances including network errors, phone problems and connectivity issues
will not be considered, and no rematch will be conducted for them.
● Any malpractice, if found, will directly lead to disqualification.

● The Organizing team is not responsible for any kind of network issue, phone
related problems or any other issues which have been caused due to unforeseen
circumstances and shall not be liable for the same.

Round 2: Flip Round/ Creative Speech Round
In this round, the participant will be offered a choice between two
extempore speech formats, namely the ‘Flip’ format and the ‘Creative
Speech’ format.

This will be done by giving the participant two topics, each
belonging to either of these formats.

After the two topic choices are given to
the participant, he/she will have half a minute to decide his/her format of
choice for the round.


Rules for ‘Flip’ format:

1) The participant must begin speaking as soon as the topic is given to
her/him.
2) The speaker will be told to flip their topic in between the speech and start
speaking the opposite. E.g.: For the topic “Honesty is always the best
policy”- When the person is told to flip, he/she should start speaking on
honesty is NOT always the best policy.
3) Maximum time to speak is three minutes.


Rules for ‘Creative Speech’ format:
1) The participant will be given an uncommon, challenging topic. She/he
will be given one minute to think on the topic.

The participants will be judged on the basis of their confidence, subject matter,
precision, effective expression of the idea.
The 12 (multiples, depending on registrations) best speakers will be chosen by the
judges, according to the scores. In case of tie, the judge reserves the right to rank
the participants fore and hence.
Round 2 (Semi-finals):
The 12 participants will be divided into 4 teams; namely A/B/C/D (3 people in
each). The teams will be divided using chit system to ensure fairness and
transparency.
These teams would be semi-finalists.
A classic debate for 20 minutes between Team A and Team C will be held, as the
first semi-final.
The second semi-final would be between Team B and Team D for 20 minutes.
Round 3 (Finals):

Out of the above 12 participants Best 4 will progress to the final round.
Judges will use chit system to redistribute members in teams of 2 for the Final
Round.
For Semi-Final and Final round debates, the following would be the format:
For and against a topic would be decided on the basis of a coin toss. The
participants would be given 20 minutes to prepare beforehand.
The first 7 minutes would be dedicated to opening statements by each of the
members in both the teams.
The following 15 minutes would be dedicated to countering the opening
statements and statements henceforth made by the opposite team.
Interjection is to be done by raising a hand or calling out, ONLY

chemistry, subject content, effective expression, and effective
