which will be online/offline.
● Teams with the highest scores will get selected.

● Judging will be based on the logic and the algorithm used to solve a problem
and acceptance of your code by coding judge (like code chef).
● Students can code in any of these languages: C, C++.

● Judging will be based on the number of problems solved by a team and
acceptance of your code by coding judge (like code chef).

Second level is Experts which is recommended for TE and B.Tech.

avoid any inconvenience.
● Teams with the highest scores will get selected.

1.2. Second Round:

1.2.1 BEGINNERS:

● For beginners this will be final round.
● Top teams from first round will qualify for this round.
● The selected students are expected to report at the allotted time
● Number of problems will be decided at the time of contest.
● Judging will be based upon the logic and the algorithm used to solve a
problem and acceptance of your code by coding judge (like codechef)
● Students can code only in JAVA language.

● For experts this will be a speed round.

● Those students who will be selected are expected to report on the time
provided.
● Number of problems will be decided at the time of contest. Judging will be

Description:
This event will test your basic general knowledge reasoning abilities
and calculation speeds.

RULES:
1.1. What is NTH (Details are as below):
● You are provided a folder to initiate the game.
● The folder comprises of two icons.
● 1st icon symbolizes the next folder number to start.
● 2nd icon gives the password to open the new folders password.
● You must play a Miniclip game in the middle of game.
● After you finish the game with the desired score you are supposed to
go on the track again and play the remaining game.
● The one who finishes the game earliest will have to go to the
destination shown in game and report the time to our volunteer there.
● The candidate having the least reporting time will be declared as the
winner.

1.2. Rules to play:

● At the start of the game, you will be given 3 cards, which are nothing but
lifelines.
● If you are stuck somewhere in between game, call the volunteer for help,
using one of your “Lifelines”.
● Each lifeline will add 5 mins to your reporting time.
● Each participant can have a maximum of three lifelines.
● Malpractices will result in disqualification.
● Papers for rough work and calculations will be provided by the
organizers.

To reward students having profound understanding of basic
chemistry. This event will test your basic chemistry knowledge and calculation speeds.

RULES:

Round 1: (Elimination Round)

● This round will contain MCQs on basic chemistry which is to be solved on
the paper.
● The participants will have to solve the given question paper within a time
frame of half an hour.
● +1 mark will be given for every correct answer and there will be no negative
marking.

Round 2:
● This round will be a rapid-fire round in which the students would have to
answer the questions in an allotted time frame.

Round 3:
● This round will be a surprise round.
● Participants are requested to reach the venue 20 mins before the
reporting time.
● It is mandatory for every participant to carry their respective receipts
without which entry will not be permitted.
● Every participant should have his/her own valid I-Card.

Description:
The competition is to test how fast one interprets the given problem

using CATIA.

CATIA.
● Catia enables you to quickly create design models with an intuitive, model centric interface. You can create, revise models in graphics window using
tool bars and dashboards.
● Equally important Catia interface components include the navigator and browser, which enable you to quickly locate, preview, and open design model.
● You also have the ability to manipulate and orient design models, which is an important basic skill that you will use whenever you are working in Catia .
● First round: In this round, candidates are given basic models to test their command mastery and speed in modelling. The one completing the task in
minimum time will proceed to next round.
● Second round: In this round, candidates will have to create several parts, and use the minimum assembly design.
● The winner will be decided on basis of accuracy of sketch and time required to assemble given task.

Description:
AutoCAD is basic tool in hand so far with a designer for engineering
drawing. It includes comprehensive tools for 2D & 3D drawing. The purpose of Auto CAD competition is to test the ability of participant to   visualize object & skills of 2D & 3D drawing.

RULES:
There are two rounds of the competition:

1) Elimination Round: –
● Sketching correct orthographic projections of given question figure. One who completes the task in  minimum time shall proceed to the next round.

2) Final Round: –
● Missing views or sectional views or drawing isometric from given
orthographic projections.
● Winners will be decided by considering the score in  last round only.
● Winners will be decided on the basis of accuracy of drawing, proper dimensioning, no. of steps used to complete the drawing & time taken for completion.
● The factors considered in order for deciding winners will be as follows:
1) Complete drawing.
2) No. of steps used for completion (less number of steps will be favoured).
3) Proper dimensioning.
4) Accuracy.
5) Time taken for completion

This event gives a chance to participants to get a feeling of event
Robo-wars on small scale.


RULES:

● Each match will be held for 3 mins.
● Bluetooth Bots and the app for controlling it will be provided at time of the event.
● Bots will have a wedge in front, with 2 wheels driving it.
● If wheel of any bot goes out of the circular arena, it is marked as defeat of the respective participant controlling it.
● If the match stretches for 3 mins. then the winner will be declared on the basis of the points the team has scored.
● The hit from back will have the 20 points whereas hitting on side will give 10 points and front to front hit will be given 0 points.
● If a bot climbs over another bot then the bot that is down will be awarded with 10 points.

● Eyes of the robot operator will be covered with black ribbon.

Vishwatronics

Introduction:
Papyrus is a technical paper presentation competition. A paper
presentation is a means of sharing your technical ideas and research with the rest of the technical world.


Topic Categories:
1.1 Circuit: Electronics, E&TC, Computers, IT, Instrumentation, Electrical.
1.2 Non-Circuit: Mechanical, Industrial, Production, Metallurgy and Material Science, Chemical, Civil.

RULES:
2.1 Proper details shall be submitted, failing which your paper will not be considered.
2.2 The details to be submitted shall be posted on the website as soon as registration opens.
2.3 You have to submit ABSTRACT and ACTUAL PAPER both.
2.4 Abstract SHOULD NOT BE MORE THAN 350 WORDS (Excluding the Title Page.).
2.5 Second round is actual presentation round. Participants need to present their paper in  Vishwakarandak ’18.
2.6 Paper should be as per IEEE format (font size of Main Heading is 16, Sub Heading 14, and general information 12, Times New Roman, MSWord).

.7 Paper should be not be of more than 10 pages.
2.8 Participants might get shortlisted before the event based on their paper.
2.9 Once your abstract and actual paper is select, you will be notified via mail as well as WhatsApp/SMS to your registered contact details.

3. Basic Presentation Rules
3.1 Total twenty (20) minutes shall be allotted, fifteen (15) minutes for presentation and five (5) minutes for questions from audience, if any.
3.2 The timing system shall proceed as follows:
3.2.1 A signal will be given at the beginning of the presentation.
3.2.2 A warning signal will be given at the end of twelve (12) minutes.
3.2.3 A stop signal will be given at the end of fifteen (15) minutes.
The participant should STOP speaking when the stop signal is given.
The judges will assess a penalty for continuing speaking beyond the fifteen (15) minute time limit.
3.2.4 At the end of five (5) minutes, questions shall be stopped, and a few minutes would be dedicated to filling of the scores and the comment sheets for each presentation.
3.3 The following equipment’s will ordinarily be available: computer/laptop with latest version of presentation software, LCD projector and screen,
overhead projector, podium and blackboard.

Description:

But just imagine if you could build your own rocket with the help of simple elements like water & air! Vishwakarandak gives you such an opportunity to build
your own rocket with readily available materials. No need to have a complex knowledge of Aeronautics. All you need is water and air to power it, and a bottle
for the body. Fuel your creativity with imagination and ignite it with your passion to reach the top of the sky!

RULES:
● Design a single stage water rocket using a plastic container of maximum 1-
liter capacity that uses a combination of pressurized air and water for
propulsion to complete a defined task.
● A launcher should also be constructed that can launch the water rocket
safely.
• The launcher should provide a 45° angle of trajectory.
• Only water should be used as a propellant. No gas other than air is allowed
to be pressurized and provide thrust to the rocket.
• The maximum pressure should not exceed 100psi.

● Only pressurized air and water assembly should be used for launching. No other potential, kinetic, or any other form of energy will be permitted for the launch.
● No component or a body part of the rocket should get detached from the main frame during the flight of the rocket. If detached, then the rocket will be disqualified.
● The neck of the container must remain intact and unaltered.
● The flange and the mouth of the bottle can be used to hold the rocket while pressurizing.
● No metal parts should be attached to the rocket.
● Raw material will be provided. The participants must make their rockets and must launch it.

Disqualification:
● If any rocket is found to be dangerous to launch by the organizers and judges.
● If the rocket doesn’t have a triggering mechanism to safely launch the rocket from a distance of 2m from the launcher.
● If a rocket blasts before the launch.
● If a rocket launches before indicated by the  organizers.
● If any part of rocket breaks off during the time of flight.
● If any design rule not abided by the participant.
